A coach can help your game.
Mission
To help leaders stretch their thinking and raise success to the next level. I’m never formulaic and my favorite way to attack a problem is to set all assumptions aside, gather any and all ideas, discard the impractical ones, and get down to the details.
Testimonials
Jeffery has been an amazing coach. He listens intently and has a knack for understanding my business challenges and helping me figure out just what details I need to work on to improve my results. Since starting work with him, I have made progress I can measure in dollars as well as better people skills. --Dan F.
Alignment
Motivational speakers tell you to “be yourself,” “follow your passion.” Maybe that’s what they found, but for most of us it isn’t so easy to find alignment between personal characteristics, the job you do, and the culture around you. Coaching helps you to find the best alignment possible and to lead in a way that helps others do so, too.
What To Expect
Let’s start with a free 30 minute conversation. From there, my usual way of working is to have three one-hour meetings a month for a minimum of 3 months. First we’ll evaluate strengths and identify opportunities. Then, together, we’ll build a plan, monitor progress, make course corrections, and finally, evaluate what we have accomplished, identify further lessons to be learned, and formulate what to focus on going forward.
Experience
I have two areas of passionate interest: how humans change and the workings and challenges of business. My personal experience has included building a JCAHO accredited healthcare organization, eventually negotiating its sale, heading a government facility, being president of my professional society, starting a successful website (in 1995!), and partnering with a well known product design firm to pursue commercialization of my US technology patent.
Simultaneously, I have maintained an active private practice as a psychiatrist in Scarsdale, New York.
I love helping people with their careers and business issues. I’ve worked with a wide and diverse group of leaders from the corporate C-suite to hedge fund managers and entrepreneurs, all the way to small business owners. I'm very open to working with business people from non-US countries and cultures, and French is my second language.
